First post of 2010
My first post of year 2010!
Times really flies and now it's the 1st day of February!
In another 2 week, will be CYN.
Stella is now back home, recovering. I've FAITH in her that she will be well and up soon! Healing may be slow on the whole but I know healing is always taking place just as I'm speaking it!
First month of the year had brought about some unhappiness that I'm ready to make a big change! It's always upset me to have to go through this kind of roller coaster emotion every now and then!

It's been months since Stella is in the hospital. Things on the outside may not seem any improvement but I faithful know that healing is taking place, restoration is taking place. I could feel the strength in Stella and I'm sure she will recover soon.
Good news, Stella's application for a maid have been approved and the maid is currently helping the mom take care of her. That's a relieve.

The doctor finally gave the go ahead to discharge Stella and let her go home for her recovery. Of late, have found that Stella seems to be stretching more and more and even her mom said that she heard Stella said something. I know miracle will happen. I can't wait for that day to come. No matter how hard the road to recovery is, everyone who loves you will always be by your side to support you and cheer you on.
Today, went with Stella's mom to the maid agency which specialized in recruiting maid with nursing skills. We got one with the experience and I thank God that you are in the midst of all these and all papers will be approved and the maid will be of wonderful help and ease for stella's mom and one who will take really good care of Stella as she recovers.

Today, went to visit you. Know that you like SHE so I brought along their Concert DVD for you to watch. When I bring the player closer for you to see. you moved and blinked your eyes! I can't help but grab hold of your mummy. Both of us saw you do it, not once but many times. Gal, you know this action of your means so much to all those around you. But the time laps is short, after a while, you will close your eyes, then we will repeat the action again. Gal, I know you are trying very hard but don't stress yourself. I know you are getting better each and very day.
I remember my promise to you, to bring you to Hongkong Disney.
And you must also keep your promise to get well soon which I'm sure you can.

Already lost track which day I visited you. But what's more important is that, every time we try to move you, I could feel resistance in your leg and at times saw that you are stretching. Good gal, you are improving so well. Although you opened your eye, I'm not sure are you looking at me. But I know you should be able to hear us. And every time we played any disc, your eyes would start to blink! Good Gal! you are improving so much. How I wish, you could surprise us and call out our names! I know this day will soon be here! I know you can! You are a strong willed gal!

After church service, went to visit you again. Your mummy had wanted me to stay until evening but home is in a mess coz mama not in town. Got to go home and clean up. Today, they let you sit upright and a few time, I think your air passage was block due to your sitting position thus your breathing machine stopped a few times. I tell you!!!!! My heart also stopped! It's so scary loh! There's not a single night before I sleep, I would ask God when is Stella waking up? How's she feeling right now? Is Stella scared? So many question went through my mind. No matter what, we still believe and have faith in you.

Your mummy had to go somewhere in the afternoon so after my sewing class, I went to watch over you. Keep tickling your feet and face and you've got reaction. Massage your hand and leg, hope you feel it. Gosh! by the time I went back it's so late already.

Went to see you but you keep having diarrhea, seem like it's the antibiotics given to you that's causing it. Your mummy and I helped the nurse to clean you up! It's not an easy job loh! Girl! No matter what, you must wake up. I don't think you want your mummy to be turning you around single handed. It will be tough on her loh!

Was really happy to hear from your mummy that you had move out from ICU and to high dependency ward. Was trying to massage your feet and discovered that your feet are cover with think dead skin. So had to sponge your feet and scrape the dead skin out. You had feeling on your feet and slowly opened your eye. Are you feeling the itch? Or you are see who's the one tickling you? It's me! Later that nite, my friend from church came over to pray for you. Girl, so many people loves you, you must get well soon, take your time, don't give yourself too much pressure. No matter what, we will all be there for you.

When to visit you today but the nurse sponging you so I had to wait. Your mummy said she's going out with mama so I'm alone with you again. Finally, managed to see you. Felt your hand are cold and dry so put lotion and massage for you. Also play some new songs for you from my mp3. Tried calling you and tickle your face abd hand and you slowly open your eyes. Good girl, keep it up. By the time your mummy came back, I was very tired. Oozed off as soon as I reached home.

Tonite, your mummy went home early to rest, so I stayed back and watch over you. Luckily, Adrian gor gor coming, then can take his bike home. Think you still under morphine that why so sleep. Sleep tight.

Went to visit you today, your mummy told me that you had your operation today to insert a tube at your throat and also from your head to stomach. Seeing the tube on your throat, I simply can't hold back my tears. On your fragile body, they have open and poke so many holes on you.
Then heard that the tube on your brain is not working well and causing pressure in your head. So they had to operate on you again to rectify the tube. You went in around 8pm and was out less than 2 hours. Thank God. After the nurse have settled you down, your mummy and I went in to see you. Was told you are sleeping but then your eyes are open. But slowly your eyes started closing. After that, we went out. Your mummy seeing your condition, can't help to worried and decided to stay overnight at the hospital.

Today, your teacher came and bought along a disc which recorded your classmate's well wishes for you. You seem to be having fever still, it will go down soon right. Today, mama, 阿爹 and I went to see you. Heard from your mummy that a few of your classmate visited you also. I read their get well card to you, did your hear me and did you see the card. I spoke to the nurse who took care of you. She said that you have been opening your eyes since this morning, good gal, I know you are trying to wake up, don't stress yourself, ok. Take your time.
The nurse also told me that you are having fever, due to the new antibiotic given. I'm sure you will be fine. You also had reaction when they pinch your leg. Also, I saw that they have took you off from morphine. Slowly, i tried to understand your situation and help to explain to your mummy so to make her know more. Now I know your condition is known as cerebral (brain) aneurysm. It doesn't matter what it is, all I know is that your chance of recovery is very high.

Today, took off from work since tml is weekend. Went to visit you in the afternoon, also bought along mama's DVD player and your CDs so that as you get well, will play it for you. You are sleeping when I visit you but I keep calling you and after a while, you opened your eyes for me, Good Gal! I made a card for you, did you see it. No worries, when you get better, you can read it too, I've hang it above you.
Gal, why there's tear flowing out when I see you? Are you in pain? Are you afraid? Are you lost? Don't worry, don't be scare, all of us will be there for you, support you. Just focus on recovering now. Gal, you have done well , half the battle is won and you did it on your own. Gal, we all love you, get well soon.

At 8am, went to SGH where your operation will be. I accompanied your mummy to wait for your operation to be done. Around 1pm plus, the doctor came out and told your mummy that the operation is successful and they have cut away the bad vein. Yeah! Feel so happy for you. But we had to wait for another 1 hr as they need to do a scan for you. After that, they prepared you to bring you back to KK Hospital. Finally at 4pm plus, you are back at the hospital and allowed to see you.
Mama also came after work to visit you but the nurse had to do some checkup for you so didn't really talk to you. So mama and I leave around 8pm. While in the cab, you mummy called to say that you had opened your eyes very wide. Feel so excited for you and can't wait to visit you tml.
Jiejie prepared a small card for you. Will hang up for you tml and you can read it when you recover. Gal, good job! You have fight a good battle! We will be there when you need us and support you. 加油!

Went to see you but was told that later on, you have got a small surgery to do. The doctors need to insert a tube on the left side of your head as the right side one is not functioning well. As it's a 1 - 2 hrs surgery, mama and I decided to wait for your with your mummy. By the time, you are out, it's very late liao. It pains everyone's heart to see that they have to insert another tube but so long it can make you well, it should be worthy.

Today, went to visit you together with mama and gor gor they all. Was told that you had visitors so we went to have our dinner. When we are almost done with it, your mummy called mama to say that she' going back and after mama put down the phone. She said that your mummy saw you open your eyes liao. We all quickly stood up and rush to take the passes. I couldn't believe my eyes that you REALLY opened your eyes. This feeling is so awesome, have been waiting for you all this while. This is the greastes encourgaement you gave for all of us. We took turns to talk to you, continue massaging your hand. I'm sure you know we are all by your side.

I went to see you again. This time round, I brought mama with me. Mama had went to Thailand and to be safe and for your health sake, she self quarantine herself since Monday. When mama finally saw you, seeing you helplessly lying on bed with so many tubes attached, she could no longer hold back, she cried. She also saw your eyes twitching when she called out your name. It really pains mama to see you like that, after that she's still crying had to console her. She also said that you hair now a little longer.

Life
Just last weekend, I went to Mayday concert. Had an awesome and fun time, singing and dancing together with some really good friends. Half way through the concert, as Ah Shin was singing a slow hit (Can't rmr the song). Something strikes me in my tots, here am I singing and celebrating life but Stella's life seem to stop on the fateful night in June.
She's so young and had a bright future, why she just can't be like us, going about doing our stuff in our daily life. Why she's robbed of this chance? Like in one of Ah Shin's song, he sang: "如果要讓我活 讓我有希望的活". I think everyone of us has each of our hope and I'm sure Stella too. She seem to have lots of things to do, to learn, to go but now we can only wait for her to recover before she embark onto the next stage of life. And now one of my hope is that Stella recover soon.
7 Sep marks the 3rd month Stella is in hospital.

HK (14-18 Aug 2009)
Yes!!! It's good to be back to HK! Really enjoyed myself during this trip even though it's with my bro.
We did alot of shopping and eating. I'm amazed that I can go places without loosing my way.
But one down side is that the weather is so hot, think hotter than SIN. But the air-con in the shops are POWER.
Can't wait to go back HK soon!

miserable people
As u know, miserable people just love to make other people's life miserable too, and if u are gonna be unhappy about it, they have won their battle in making things difficult for you. It’s like their life mission. So if they wanna end up in hell, let them go ahead and do it to themselves, you shall continue to go about your daily life not getting affected by mad, insecure and pathetic people like that, if u think it that way, life will be much prettier than theirs.

Disappointment
I can't hide that I'm really disappointed till the point that I wanna cry! The past weeks have been tough, like a part of me have been eaten up.
When I see you, I almost cried! That's how hard it hit me when you break the news to me! But I'm happy for you and could not bring myself to blame you for the disappointment. Maybe I put too much hope that's why the greater the disappointment.
I think God has a greater plan for both of us! If not, thing will not turn out this way so unexpectedly!
Hope I will feel much better after I come back from HK!

Stella, Be Strong!
Stella is 11 yrs old this year, my mom used to look after her when she's just a baby and she calls my mom, Mama which makes her mine little sister.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday, I received a call from Stella's mom that on Monday, a vein in her brain had burst and she's had been operated on and currently in ICU. My heart broke into pieces and tears just flow out. No one was home at that moment, I quickly called everyone in the family about the news. We all rushed down to the hospital and my heart crushed to see her, hooked up with tubes all over her.
As my parent going away for a planned holiday, I have been going to the hospital everyday to visit her. Last night when I visited her, her mom was telling me that the doctor will reduce the doze of medicine and let her wake up soon.
What will happen in the future I don't know but I know what matters now is that she wake up. Miracle do happen and I'm sure she will wake up and be fine and well!

Aaron Kwok De Reel Show Concert Promotion
Aaron is here in Singapore from 16 to 18 April 2009.
16 April 09
Arrival - CX711, Singapore (1615 - 2000)
Right after work, quickly zoom down to airport but was early. Not in the mood of eating, butterflies in the stomach! Got a message that his flight will be early but then by the time he cleared custom, should be still around 2000. Meet do first, soon after also saw many familiar faces.
Quickly put our stuff in Uncle Ong's cab. time is getting closer and somehow crowd also getting bigger. Don't know who they waiting for?? Anyway, I just know that I'm waiting for Aaron Kwok!
Was told that Aaron arrived and waiting at a room coz the custom queue is very long. Without knowing, somehow he cleared his custom very fast and soon we spot him waling towards the belt! He stood right in front of me with is back facing me! It's true! He's here! He didn't let us down like last time when he went via secret passage!
My gosh! I was standing right in front, called his name and shake his hand! So warm and 扎实 (firm)! Right after, before I can collect myself, had to start running towards the cab! My gosh! The distant is like 100 metres! Just know, I have to keep running, saw him at the other entrance, but no time to stop, just kept on running!
Finally, reached the cab, lucky I got 练过! Still can managed! The chase begin!
While in the cab, all of us are simply excited and high! Especially, after we pull out the magic stick! Aaron seems to be amazed by the wording and can clearly see him keep pointing at it! Gosh! He got read our message wor! Finally, chase him till swissotel but alas, there's no wat we could park so we have to keep routing around the vincity! It's one whole big round and all the time worried if he got went out. Upon our second turn, we all have alighted but came ch scream that he had hopped onto the van! Lucky all our reaction are fast, managed to hop back! Gosh! SO DRAMA!
We chased him until Orchard Hotel and realised that he's going Hua Ting for dinner. I like this hotel! No security! Walk in with Aaron until the restaurant. He enjoy his dinner, we also but at the nearby mac, had a quicky one and went back to wait for him at the lobby. Not so bad, air-con and somemore got music!
Waitied until nearly 11.00 plus then he's finally out. Keep looking at him until I forgotten that I'm chasing him. Until, I heard someone scream my name, then it knock the sense out of me. I quickly dashed for the cab, lucky still in time! Gosh! How can I forgot! Silly me! Before long, we reached the hotel. All I know is hearing "Good Nite, Aaron! Good Nite, Aaron! Good Nite, Aaron!........"

Press Conference - Swisshotel, Equinox Private Dining Room (1400 - 1700)
Took the afternoon off and went down to Swissotel coz I'll be attending the press conference. Since I was early, went to MOS Burger for lunch, somehow no appetite, must be feeling excited bah! Then went to shop around and nearly bought something out of inpluse, lucky do called me! Went to meet up with them and waited at the lobby for all to gather. Once everyone arrived, we went to the private room and was shown our seats. Everyone started taking pics after pics! Slowly, the crowds started coming in! So many cameras! Everyone were worried about been captured !
The press conference started and they showed a 4 mintues clip of his concert stuff. Awesome! The Q & A from the reporters etc and finally, the press conference ended with Aaron cutting a cake which is modified after his stage and popping the champage, lastly, taking pics with sponsor and fans to! Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many reporters, don't know where got the courage to go up there and next I know, I'm standing beside Aaron! Flash after flash, also don't know where to look at! Confused! After that, Aaron went out from the side and we had to leave as he's having interview with various media.
As time is early, we took the train to bugis and check out Iluma. Already there are people queuing up instead we went into check out Iluma and the stage and take photo and also had our lunch. Went to queue up and a look at it, we are still within 100 people. To past time, I had bought along my bro's psp to play and chatting around etc. Lucky, the management gave out the tickets early which means with the ticket we can leave the queue and not worried about proplr jump queue. While inside Iluma, they were playing Aaron's song and keep repeating it, till we know the squence of the song liao!
Up-close meet-and-greet session - Iluma, Bugis (2000 - 2200)
Finally, Aaron is here! The atmostsphere changed and everyone was screaming and cheering. Aaron went on to self-intro and talk about his concert. Next, was a contest of 5 people who have to dance in front of all the people to show off their best dance step, but none can make it. Only can make a fun out of themselves in front of the King of Dance.
The autograph session started. Had intended to have all the tickets signed but just as we were reaching the stage, was told only can sign one ticket, everyone scramble to look for their own ticket. Finally, went up the stage and meet him face to face, Aaron signed my ticket and shook hand with him, woo.... his hand is cold.

Departure - CX714, Hong Kong (1100 - 1455)
Waiting for him at the hotel, after he came out, hop on to the cab and the chase started.
More or less can see him in the car reading something. Time flies and we reached the airport. Aaron waited in the car with his assistant while the rest of us stood outside his car and wait for him. Finally, he came out from the car and all the fans tried to swamp up to him. Follow him until the check in point. As usual, we all say bye bye to him.
See ya in May!

Annual Service Award
Yes, once again it's the Annual Service Award! Just came back from compassionate leave but then I had already settle and prepare all the stuff so everything is under my control.
The ceremony was smooth sailing, just that Ivy was too gan cheong and read the names too fast. The food was not ready and the award have all given out. But thank to the staff at Marriott Hotel, the are fast ans swift and got the food ready!
Going to start this preparation again in November.

Goodbye Grandpa!
Although, we are not really close but I would get to see you at Uncle's house next door some other weekend and all of us would join you for breakfast.
All this won't be happening anymore. Only the memories will leave on.
The last time I see you well was during Chinese New Year.
Everything was well and good and everyone are happy.
When I saw you last Monday, I was full of hope that you would get well but things did not turn out perfect.
That was the very last time I saw you live and well and remembering me.
The next day, I held your cold hand as you lay peacefully and I was filled with sadness and tears.
Farewell and departure are always hard to accept.
The last time, I saw Dad cried his heart out was when Great-grandfather passed away.
I was too young then to show my comfort.
Then I saw Dad cried again.
This time round, I tried to control and put up a brave front and comfort him but was too over-whelmed by the sadness and cried together.
Life must goes one no matter what.
I'm glad that I'm part of your life during your life time and without you, without Dad, without me.
Goodbye....

My worse fear happened!
Today, I was preparing to go to work and at 6.45pm again!
The phone rang and I rushed to pick up.
My heart sank and I quickly inform my parent that Grandpa can't make it.
When we finally reached the hospital, I burst into tears and his bod lay there on the bed.
Grandpa had already left.....
Was told that it was a quick one, heart attack!
Glad that he didn't suffer much for his age.
Try hard to think that there's nothing to be very sad over as he had lived to this old ripen age and 4 generation of us. He's a blessed man.

I'm scare!
FRIDAY
Past few days, I'm freaking out.
Got a call on Friday night that my Grandfather was in A & E due to mild heart attack.
Quickly went down to the hospital and the doctors are still examining him.
But was relieved to hear that he's stable and need to be warded.

SATURDAY
Heard that my Grandfather was doing well and intend to visit him on Sunday.

SUNDAY
Jump up from my sleep when I heard the phone rang at 6.45am. My auntie told us to prepare to go down to the hospital as my Grandpa was transferred to the Coronary Care Unit.
By the time, the doctors are done with their work. Managed to go into the CCU to take a look at him. He's all hooked up with wires and tube to help him breath and to drain out the fluid in his lungs. After that, went back home.
Then late in the afternoon, went down to the hospital again to visit him. Still in CCU but was glad to hear that the fluid have been drained out. Which is a good sight. Grandpa, you can make it. Hope to see that are off the machine tml.
